The Layers of Pathology – Chart of Suppression

5.1) The Layers of Pathology – Chart of Suppression

Human beings and their organs or organ systems are initially formed from the blastoderm layer. This consists of:

a) the ectoderm

b) the endoderm

c) the mesoderm

d) the neuroectoderm, as a specialised ectoderm.

Ectoderm, or 1st germ layer:

Forms all organs that are in direct contact with the human environment; it is the outermost layer of an embryo that is still tubular in its initial stages. It is the first germ layer and is therefore the least significant.

Endoderm, or 2nd germ layer:

The inner lining of the human being (respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, urogenital tract). The 2nd germ layer is more important for humans than the ectoderm.

Mesoderm, or 3rd germ layer:

Visceral or internal organs such as lungs, heart and kidneys originate from the mesothelium of the mesoderm.

The blood, lymph, bones, cartilage, muscles, dermis, fascia and the lining of the organs develop from the mesenchyme of the mesoderm (= connective tissue). The mesenchyme of the mesoderm lies between the endoderm and the visceral mesoderm.

Based on this concept, Vijayakar extracted 7 levels of disease, which he calls the levels of suppression. As he also integrated the miasms in these, it resulted in the miasmatic charts of suppression.
